Today, the pop-up above appeared, and since it said it was free, I went ahead and purchased it, but
the payment button appeared, and even though there was no indication other than $0,
the Master Plan was automatically purchased as well, and I was charged ¥57,127.
When I contacted support, they replied that this is standard practice and that they do not issue refunds based on their terms of service.
Incidentally, there was no such explanation in the pop-up, nor was there a link to a page with an explanation.
I think it’s unreasonable to be denied a refund by citing terms and conditions that cannot be verified from the pop-up.
In short, this company is unscrupulous and dishonest.
I cannot trust them, so I will not make any further purchases within SeaArt, nor will I renew my plan.
