Changing the Notification Center Style

This change to the Notification Center’s design was a shock to me in many ways. I’d actually submitted several petitions in the past asking for the “99+” feature to be removed, but I never imagined it would actually make things even harder to understand… As the number of people grows, so do the rules needed to manage them. When resources and personnel are limited, there are bound to be times when you have to simplify certain key areas Even so, I’d really prefer it if they’d leave this part alone ① Just one wrong click sends you right back to the beginning ② While scrolling, you find yourself back at the top without realizing it ③ On a PC, only the date is displayed—the time isn’t shown ④ I want to view only the comments, but I can’t ⑤ I can’t view just the followers Just off the top of my head, there were this many issues Personally, #4 is especially frustrating Notifications are a space where users can connect with one another, and a place where they can exchange various forms of inspiration, such as creative motivation Whether it’s the first “like” or the first comment—and not just on SeaArt AI—I believe there isn’t a single person who doesn’t understand that joy I’d like to ask you to reconsider whether taking away features that were previously available can truly be called “evolution.”

The messages are just really hard to read.

I have absolutely no idea why they felt the need to change it, but the new “Messages” feature is hard to read.“Likes” and comments are all mixed together, making it hard to tell them apart, and when you open a comment or reply, you have to scroll all the way back to the top again. It only shows the date, too. It’s not like I’m on this site all day long. For those of us who can’t view things in real time, this is such a step backward that I just want to say, “Bring back the old version!” I’m shocked that the programmers didn’t notice how hard this is to use. Please put more thought into it—like adding the ability to search by date, or to search and filter by “Likes” or “Comments” alone. There’s no need to divide messages into three categories: “Official,” “Community,” and “System,” along with messages from you guys. You could just lump all of this together and add a small label at the top of the display, right? Please design this properly.

Feature Request

In Progress

Please improve the blocking feature.

I’ve been a paying user of this site for a long time, but I’m fed up with how the “Recommended” section and other features are filled with such low-quality images, all in an effort to collect “Likes” for events. I remember that it wasn’t this bad back in the day. As it is now, even when I want to look at other people’s work for inspiration, the recommendations are always filled with the same kind of content, and the recommended images are dominated by a specific user’s work. This is extremely frustrating, and I can’t create the kind of environment I’d like to see. Please implement a system, like the one on Civitavi, that allows users to hide specific accounts all at once. The works of people competing in the daily challenges are not only of such low quality that they’re unwatchable, but they also spam and pollute the recommendations, making the site unusable. I think the results would be far more interesting if the algorithm could read my tastes and display content accordingly. I would like to see competition entries from events kept separate.

Linking the Creative Workflow to Personal Centers

■Background When I first started, there was a linking feature, and if I deleted something in the Creative Flow, it would also be deleted from the Personal Center. Later, an update removed the linking feature, and we received numerous comments in the feedback section stating that the extra effort required to delete them was a hassle. Perhaps in response to this feedback, a subsequent update restored the link. On the other hand, some feedback indicates that both are now being deleted, and there are also opinions stating that it would have been better if the link hadn’t been restored. ■Summary The original request was that deletion was too much of a hassle. It wasn’t about whether items were linked or not; the issue was that deleting both was a hassle. In response to this, a seemingly contradictory and opposite opinion has emerged, with users now expressing concern that both items are being removed. ■Proposed Solution When deleting from the Creation Flow, users should be able to choose on the confirmation screen whether to delete the linked item or delete it without linking. Add a setting in User Preferences to enable or disable the link between the Creation Flow and the Personal Center. Add a feature that allows users to easily change whether a work is linked or not on a per-work basis. Add a protection feature for each work ____ There may be other good ways to handle this. Even if you comment on this feedback, it’s highly likely that @JJJJulio won’t read it. Given that they tell people not to post similar comments yet respond so carelessly, I’d suggest you submit any good ideas you come up with in a separate feedback post.

Concerns About the Current Contest Ranking System

Hello, I really enjoy participating in your contests, but I have some concerns about the current ranking system that I hope you will consider. At the moment, it feels like participants are at a significant disadvantage unless they submit their work immediately after the contest opens. If you don't post within the first few minutes, your work receives very little exposure. However, because so many entries are submitted at the exact moment the contest begins, most of them are buried almost instantly. Despite this environment, the same small group of accounts consistently receives a very large number of likes and occupies multiple top positions in the rankings every single day. This naturally raises questions among many participants. I am not claiming that any rules are being broken or that anyone is cheating. My concern is that, regardless of whether any unfair behavior exists, the current system itself creates an unfair playing field. A small number of works continue to receive the majority of the exposure, while many other entries are barely seen at all. Does the SeaArt team consider this to be an issue? I also believe that many users have already suggested improvements such as: Making the default display order random instead of popularity-based. Adding a scheduled posting feature so users do not have to compete by posting within the first few seconds. If these suggestions have already been received, why have they not been implemented? If there are no plans to introduce these features, could you please explain the reasoning behind that decision? I sincerely hope the contests can become a fairer environment where every participant has a reasonable opportunity for their work to be seen and appreciated. Thank you for your time.
