What is the difference between users whose contributions are reflected and those whose contributions are not reflected?

Once I submit a picture to the daily challenge, it appears in the posting section, but when I transition back to the screen, it is not in the posting section.

But some users' pictures are showing up.

I would like to know what is the cause of this difference, whether it is a bug or a selection by the management.
