What's the point of pushing people who were previously high up down to the bottom?

For those of us who want to reference top creators' work or research trends, this is useless.

I get that the admins might be changing the system to favor certain creators, but wouldn't it be better to just go back to sorting by post order?
And these days, they're trying to justify this favoritism by saying the ratings are fair? Seriously?

Do the favored people even feel happy about this? Honestly, I can't be bothered to speak politely to such a blatantly biased admin team anymore.
