The "problem" where the profile page default is forced to posts

It's incredibly difficult to use and way too inconvenient.

Ideally, either users should be able to choose which page to view when looking at someone else's profile (viewer-controlled), or the viewed user themselves should decide which page to display first (viewed-controlled). Either way, it should be "users making their own choices." If that's not possible, then at the very least, the viewed user should be able to actively choose what content to show (this also inexplicably doesn't work on the PC browser version) and it should default to the "Overview" page.
