Dear SeaArt Team – I would like to remind you of my post last week (Dec 2). In ‘Mature mode’ you currently employ a safety net of three layers: 1.) early interruption of a generation, 2.) terminate the generation but flag it as too unhealthy to be shown, or 3.) terminate the generation and flag it as not publishable within the SeaArt community but show it to the user in private mode. Honestly, I think these three layers should arguably be a sufficient level of Mature-mode moderation. Since about a week there are these annoying flickering pollutions deliberately distorting not all - but too many - of the generated videos. A week ago, I brought this to your attention and argued why I find this critical: you would not pay full (or actually any) price when buying a new suit that is covered with scars and holes, right? Responding to some of your stakeholders’ concerns is fully understandable as your survival may hinge on their decision taking. Overcompliance to their concerns risks to forget who is bringing you the cash. Cash service providers transfer the cash for you – but it is your user base (the one left) that brings you the cash to pay bills from. It would be beneficial for your future plans if you re-evaluated your priorities along these lines. Leaving things as is, i.e. trying to overzealously “green-wash” even mature mode generations, may further thin out your user base…
