Mature mode?

Hello. I understand that you are currently experiencing issues with the Mature Mode system, but this explanation does not cover everything that is happening on the platform.

The main problem is that the content flag is being applied not only to newly uploaded images, but also to older posts — including entries from previous contests that were never marked as Mature before. These posts were already published long ago, had passed all checks, and had no restricted content. Yet the system suddenly re-flagged them.

This behavior cannot be explained simply by a temporary failure of Mature Mode, because it affects previously approved and historically safe content. This suggests that the issue is deeper and may be related to a different part of the moderation or classification system.

At the moment, many users are unable to submit new works because the flag cannot be removed manually; the “Appeal” button is unavailable. If this is a global system failure, it would be helpful to acknowledge it directly — and to clarify whether a fix is already in progress.
