Customer support isn't doing enough

When I contacted customer support, they replied, “We apologize for the inconvenience. To resolve this issue more quickly, we ask that you contact us directly. We will then explain the situation to you. Thank you for your understanding.” But is there anywhere else I can contact directly besides customer support? I wish they would stop putting the burden on users.
