Proposal for Functional Improvements (Measures to Prevent Incorrect Regeneration)

Hello.

When going back through past projects and clicking the "Re-run" button (the one with two arrows forming a circle), I sometimes mistakenly think it’s for the txt2img task and end up clicking the "Re-run" button for the upscaling task instead, which causes the upscaling to run again immediately. (This happens because the upscaling task runs immediately when the button is clicked.)

In a previous post, I saw a request asking if it would be possible to include a confirmation screen instead of having the task run immediately, but I believe the response was that it would be difficult to implement.

However, since someone actually posted a request for a solution, I suspect there are many people—myself included—who occasionally make this mistake, so I wanted to find a way to address it.

So, I’ve come up with an alternative method to reduce these errors, which I’ll describe below.

How about changing only the font or text background color of the “Re-execute Upscale” button (and any other tasks that execute immediately upon being pressed)? For example, since the current task’s font color is white, you could make the “Re-execute Upscale” button red.

The reason people accidentally execute tasks is that they look similar (leaving users with no choice but to check the task type name), making it easy to make a mistake when distracted. If it’s difficult to address the issue after a button is pressed, the approach here is to address it before the button is pressed to prevent accidental clicks.

I imagine that adding a warning message or changing the layout to make it more obvious would place a significant burden on the development team and require a great deal of effort to investigate any potential negative effects. In that regard, I anticipated that simply changing the font color of the “Re-execute” button for specific task types would not disrupt the layout and would likely minimize the effort required to investigate any negative effects.

I believe that even just changing the color of the “Retry” button would drastically reduce accidental clicks and lead to a more comfortable user experience.

I would appreciate your consideration of this proposal.
