I am submitting a formal notice regarding an unauthorized and unintended charge made to my card for a SeaArt membership.
The payment occurred automatically due to the trial expiration, but this does not constitute valid consent under international consumer protection standards. Regardless of your internal “no refund” policy, companies are required to address accidental or non-intentional charges, and failure to do so may be considered a violation of consumer rights.
I hereby request an immediate full refund to my card.
I have not used any membership services following the charge, which makes this transaction fully eligible for reversal.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with the following steps:
Initiate a chargeback with my bank for an unauthorized/accidental transaction.
File a formal complaint with the relevant consumer protection authorities.
Submit documentation to the platform where the payment was processed (Apple Pay / Google Pay / card provider), including your refusal to refund an unintended charge.
I would prefer to resolve this matter directly with you, without escalation, but I am fully prepared to follow through if necessary.
Please confirm that my refund is being processed and provide a timeline for completion.
