I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the recent limitations imposed on the use of ComfyUI, especially for non-VIP users. With only 20 minutes available, it is practically impossible to perform any significant work on the tool. Even if the limit were extended to 30 minutes or 1 hour, it would still be insufficient for most tasks.
A more balanced approach could be to limit GPU speed after 1 or 2 hours of continuous use, instead of completely suspending generations. This would make sense, considering that the platform offered the service for free for over a year and managed to remain sustainable. Why not now opt for a performance reduction instead of a total interruption? This change would be more user-friendly and keep users engaged. Additionally, the current limitations do not encourage free users to become VIP subscribers, since even the paid plans have restricted daily quotas. A better idea would be to make ComfyUI unlimited on the most basic VIP plan, which is more affordable. This would certainly convert many non-paying users into loyal customers.
As things stand now, it only generates frustration and outrage, leading users like me to abandon the platform and migrate to alternatives like Runpod. There, there is no censorship, and depending on what you pay for, it is possible to generate any desired content in unlimited quantities, without restrictions like the limit of four images per workflow. Additionally, we can install additional nodes with more freedom. I hope you consider this feedback to improve everyone's experience
